Cesenatico
Cesenatico is a municipality in the province of Forli-Cesena and is a major resort and tourist destination that is located on the Adriatic Sea. The town boasts a valuable port-channel that was built in 1500 from an original design by Leonardo da Vinci. According to the intentions of Da Vinci the channel would have to reach the town of Cesena, which was located inland about 15 km from Cesenatico. The Skyscraper Cesenatico instead represents the new city. It was built in the 50s along the seafront, new in the area of the city opposite the existing Grand Hotel and is undoubtedly the symbol of Cesenatico and modern tourism. In Cesenatico is also the museum of the navy which is composed of the ships are moored at the port, most important among all the Trabaccolo personnel carrier, on which you can climb.
